The Open Door Network is Kerry’s Response to Violence against Women and Children. We believe in raising awareness through interagency co-operation and the co-ordination of responses throughout the County. We support existing services in their aim of providing accessible safe spaces and support for women and their children who experience violence or abuse. We will support the development of policy and training programmes by working with our members and coordinating appropriate responses to community needs on a county-wide basis.
Membership of the Open Door Network is open to any organisation who wishes to develop a organisational policy on receiving a disclosure of domestic and/or sexual violence. Presently our members include organisations within the community and voluntary sector.
