Crimes Against Women Conference Success

The Manor West Hotel was host to this years OpenDoor network conference. Once again we had an excellent turnout at the venue of over 250 people.

Our guest speakers once again surpassed themselves with their presentations and interaction with the attendees. We would like to thank all involved with this event, guests, attendees and the hotel staff for their help in making this a success.

We are already planning for next years event and look forward to seeing you a it. Watch this space.

The Open Door Network is Kerry’s Response to Violence against Women and Children. We believe in raising awareness through interagency co-operation and the co-ordination of responses throughout the County. We support existing services in their aim of providing accessible safe spaces and support for women and their children who experience violence or abuse. We will support the development of policy and training programmes by working with our members and coordinating appropriate responses to community needs on a county-wide basis.
